BIO

Hi, I am Melody Morris.

​I am currently studying Sports Journalism at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. I am also a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. I have gained lifelong skills and experience in many aspects, including public relations, through Kappa and Cronkite. My ultimate career goal is to become a sports columnist. Writing has always come naturally to me. I have an extensive background in business, making me twice as sharp in journalism. I have excellent people skills and have become great at negotiating due to my current professional background in sales. I am extremely personable and can see different perspectives.

 

My passion hobby is performing stand-up comedy and I have quickly learned that it has enhanced my public speaking skills and also given me inside knowledge on the entertainment industry. It is a goal of mine to intern for Barstool Sports, helping with their marketing and/or social media because it is a perfect combination of my passions.
